Jeffrey Boehmer is a native of Frederick, MD. After graduating from West Virginia University in 2003, he spent 10 years in the US Air Force Heritage of America Band. During his time in the Air Force, he was a member of the Concert Band and the Langley Winds Woodwind Quintet, performing concerts and masterclasses throughout the entire United States and as far away as Siberia, Russia. His most memorable performances with the Air Force Band were his concert tours in Europe and Russia, marching in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and performing in both inaugural ceremonies for President Barrack Obama.

Jeffrey spent two summers as a Fellowship Member of the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival at Juilliard and has also performed with the Richmond Symphony, the West Virginia Symphony, and the Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra.

Now living in Mercersburg, PA, he enjoys an active year of performing and teaching in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia. In his freetime, he enjoys distance running, photography, and long walks with his dogs Buddy and Walker.
